Change

If you sit still as daylight wakes and pause,
expand your lungs with air sweet, full of peace—
moments, time stands still you almost forget
what it was to you, the meaning of life.
And yet in a breath suddenly it’s clear:
a life lived well gives forth life abundant
Such shame to waste a minute. Time’s no thief.

The sun the moon the world spin ever on
but how we choose to spend defines true worth.
Life’s value hung: measures of love and mirth.
To tip the scale, imagination joins
piled high with a generous heart. To give
of oneself is a precious gift received.
Quality shared, glimpse of magic revealed.

You are pure nature—Divinely-designed,
such beauty contained, bound for movement. Joy!
Such passion destined for sorrow and grief.
Creation created for creation.
Remember today: your purpose, your role:
you’re needed to nurture; help others grow.
It won’t be easy, survival takes grit.
Only requirement: to try your best.
Empty your lungs release expectations
body at rest, soul on fire: you can’t lose.
