ARTFUL: Objects of Joy is a collection of 12 original paintings, created & curated to offer a glimpse inside of my creative process & my personal archive of found objects to show & tell of things that have brought me profound inspiration in my career as an artist & author.

I believe that visual art invites the viewer into a conversation of contemplation. We see thousands of things everyday, but we don’t always stop to consider their meaning or influence on our lives. Not every object holds a deep emotional connection or prompts an existential search for truth, but I have found that when I take time to smell the roses, pause in my steps to look up, plan a special gathering with friends, or really just hone in on the world around me, my body responds with curiosity, excitement & joy.

As you look at the pieces in my collection, I encourage you to let your imagination run wild & your expectations fly away — be open to receive inspiration. Give yourself permission to get lost in a breath of observation. Consider what objects in your life bring you joy or help you cultivate a sense of grounded peace.
